ABB opens new factory in Vietnam

News/Bac Ninh - ABB – the leading power and automation technology group – inaugurated a power product manufacturing plant in the northern province of Bac Ninh’s Tien Son Industrial Zone on March 11.
The US$30 million plant is part of ABB’s plan to increase production capacity in Vietnam and help the country meet the growing electricity demand for electricity and maintain grid reliability.
Bernhard Jucker, chiefh of ABB’s Power Products Division, says the new plant is expected to employ more than 100 workers.
