Brother Vietnam to build new factory in Hai Duong
News - Brother Vietnam, a branch of the Japan-based company that produces multifunction printers, began construction of a new $25 million factory in the northern province of Hai Duong on December 19.

The three-storey factory, covering a total area of 40,000m 2 , is expected to be finished in December 2012. Once it is put into operation, it will generate jobs for nearly 3,000 local people.

This will be Brother’s fourth factory in Vietnam and part of the company’s strategy to expand its production with a focus on laser printers.

Nguyen Manh Hien, Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee, praised Brother for its expansion, saying he hopes that the company and other Japanese investors will continue to invest in the province.
