CG Meeting 2011 to take place in Hanoi

ME - The Consultative Group (CG) Meeting of Donors for Vietnam will be held in Hanoi on Dec. 6, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Nov. 24.
With the theme “Promoting economic restructuring and poverty reduction”, the meeting will discuss a wide range of issues such as Vietnam’s macro-economic situation in 2011 and directions for 2012 and orientations for economic restructuring.
Restructuring the banking and financial sector, strengthening public welfare system in Vietnam and the results of the Busan High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness will be also tabled for discussion.
An Anti-Corruption Dialogue and Vietnam Business Forum will be held as part of the meeting.
