News/Đồng Nai - Dong Nai plans to upgrade, improve and build 38
irrigation projects in the 2006-2010 period,
according
to the Provincial Department of Rural and Agricultural Development. Of
the total, 13 projects have been completed, or just 30 per cent of the
target for the period. Meanwhile, the rest 25 projects are underway. The
main reasons for the delays in implementing projects are difficulties
in investment capital as well as in site clearance and compensation
procedures.
