Coteccons becomes main contractor of MGM Grand Ho Tram Tourism Complex

News - Cotec Construction Joint Stock Co has lately been selected as the main contractor for carrying out the first phase of MGM Grand Ho Tram Tourism Complex project with total investment capital of $4.2 billion.
The main investor of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau province-based project was Asian Coast Development Ltd (ACDL), a Canadian large group. Steelman Partners Co was responsible for designing works in this project, while MGM Resorts International Group, a well-known hotel management group in the world of managing and operating the tourism complex.
Ho Tram Strip Complex was sited in an area of 164 hectares in Xuyen Moc Commune, Ba Ria Vung Tau province with total investment capital of $4.2 billion.
It was expected that the Phase 1A (MGM Grand Ho Tram) would be finished by 2013, while the whole Ho Tram Strip Tourism Complex to be put into operation after 10 years of construction.
The complex includes five hotels with 9,000 rooms to be built under five-star standards, two Las Vegas-styled casinos, five high-end resort complex along the coast line, ten restaurants and nigh clubs, an international convention centre, golf course and spa resort.
