Emerging Vietnamese market attracts Dutch firms

CA - The Netherlands regards Vietnam as an attractive, emerging market and more companies from that country will come to explore business opportunities, said the economic and commercial section of the Consulate General of the Netherlands in HCMC.
The section told the Daily on Wednesday that a mission representing some 17 Dutch companies and the Limburg Chamber of Commerce of the Netherlands would be in HCMC from November 16 to 19 to look for local partners.
The delegation groups representatives of Dutch companies operating in the fields of financial and investment, business management consultancy; real estate and construction development and management; precision engineering; food and animal feed processing; education; power generation and fashion.
The Dutch companies will sound out trade and investment prospects in Vietnam’s commercial hub through visits to Dutch and international manufacturing factories in HCMC and the surrounding areas as well as match-making events with local counterparts.
The visiting companies from the Netherlands expected to find suitable local distributors, suppliers and outsourcing partners for their new business initiatives, according to the economic and commercial section.
The Netherlands remains one of the leading European investors in Vietnam, with its registered investment capital of more than US$5.6 billion in the country.
