Hà Nội to build hi-tech agricultural zone

News - Permanent Deputy PM Nguyễn Sinh Hùng on
August 30 agreed with the plan on building a hi-tech agricultural zone in Hoài
Đức District, Hà Nội.
The 668-ha zone will be located in the two communes
of An Thượng and Song Phương.
Earlier, Việt Nam has established hi-tech
agricultural zones in some localities to boost agriculture, husbandry and
aquaculture.
Hasfarm Company in Đà Lạt City, Lâm Đồng Province, has
introduced Dutch technologies to its horticultural activities, enjoying
economic benefits 20-30 times higher than the normal method.
Some hi-tech agricultural zones in Hồ Chí Minh City,
Hải Phòng, Tây Ninh, Bình Dương and other localities are either being built or
operating well.
