HCM City to host Spain-VN Business Forum

ME - The Spain- Việt Nam Business Forum will be held in Hồ Chí Minh City from April 16-17.
According to the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, the participating Spanish businesses are those who have involved in agriculture, garments, electronics, renewable energy and infrastructure.
Việt Nam is an open economy with a high growth rate and active foreign trade, which has helped increase trade turnover between the two countries in recent years, affirmed the Madrid Chamber of Commerce.
It also highlighted favorable conditions for Spanish enterprises in the Vietnamese market, citing the agreements on transport infrastructure between the two sides and the to-be-signed Free Trade Agreement between Việt Nam and the European Union.
Earlier, in 2008 and 2010, the Madrid Chamber of Commerce organized business trips to Việt Nam for Spanish enterprises to seek potential partners.
The two countries’ trade turnover reached €1.51 billion in 11 months of 2011, in comparison with €1.23 billion for the whole 2010.
