HN: more flyovers to open for traffic in 2012
News - Four flyovers will have put into operation by late 2012 in Hà Nội to regulate traffic at junctions and avoid traffic congestions, according to the Hà Nội municipal Department of Transport.

So far, two flyovers at the Thái Hà-Chùa Bộc and Láng Hạ-Thái Hà intersections are being implemented on schedule and will be completed in May this yea.

Earlier, the Prime Minister has authorized the Hà Nội People’s Committee to open bidding for building two other flyovers at the Lệ Văn Lương-Láng and Nguyễn Chí Thanh-Láng intersections at a total cost of nearly VND600 billion. The two projects are expected to be finalized in 2012.

By 2015, there will have additional flyovers at Trần Duy Hưng-Nguyễn Chí Thanh-Láng, Hoàng Quốc Việt-Phạm Văn Đồng-Bắc Thăng Long-Nam Đồng, and Nguyễn Sơn-Nguyễn Văn Cường intersections, and broaden the Kim Mã-Liễu Giai, Road 69-Phạm Văn Đồng and Cổ Nhuế-Phạm Văn Đồng interchanges.
