ITE becomes national tourism event

ME - Vietnam Tourism Administration (VTA) has recognised the International Tourism Exhibition of Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC) as a national event to promote the regional tourism sector as well as attract more international visitors to Vietnam.
According to Mr La Quoc Khanh, vice director of HCM City Culture, Sports and Tourism Department, ITE has gained a monopoly to hold annual international events with the participation of VTA.
ITE HCMC, jointly held by the HCM City Culture, Sports and Tourism Department and Binet&IIR Company, will take place from September 12-14 at the Phu Tho Exhibition Centre, District 11.
Next year, Vietnam will host TRAVEX international tourism fair, an event introduced by ASEAN Tourism Forum.
