Kankeiren delegation paid a working visit to Ba Ria –Vung Tau province

ME- On 24 November 2011, Ba Ria – Vung Tau People’s Committee received and had a meeting with Kansai Economic Federation (Kankeiren – Japan) at Emperial Hotel in Vung Tau City.
Participating in this seminar, for Vietnamese side are Mr. Tran Minh Sanh, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Ho Van Nien, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, leaders of departments, agencies and representative of enterprises of the Province, and for Japanese side are Mr. Shosuke Mori, Chairman of Kankeiren and many Japanese enterprises that are member of the Kankeiren. Mr. Le Quoc Thinh, Consul General of Vietnam at Osaka also participated in the meeting.
At the meeting, Japanese investors were introduced with overview of Ba Ria Vung Tau province, development orientation of supporting industries and logistics through a documentary video film.
Leaders of Ba Ria Vung Tau’s People’s Committee expressed their expectation that, after this visit, Kansai enterprises will be more interested in and cooperate with Vietnamese side in developing supporting industries and logistics in Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
Kansai Economic Federation is in a visit to Vietnam for participating in 5th Vietnam – Kansai Economic Cooperation Forum co-organized by the Ministry of Planning and Investment and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
