UB.News/Moscow - Representatives
attending a meeting of the Russian sub-committee of the Russia-Viet Nam
Business Council (RVBC) have all stressed that Viet Nam is a promising
market and urged the country’s enterprises to promote trade ties with
Vietnamese partners.
The meeting, the second of its kind, was held in Moscow on February 6 under the chairmanship of Mikhail Slipenchuk, who is also General Director of Metropol, a Russian leading financial investment company.
The participants, who are senior officials of Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and leaders of various leading companies and banks, said Russia’s enterprises will be given favourable conditions when establishing and expanding business ties with Viet Nam as its economy is growing rapidly and the Southeast Asian nation has traditional relations with Russia.
They also expressed hope that the RVBC’s Vietnamese sub-committee will soon to be put into full operation in order to help companies from both countries carry out their business.
The RVBC was established in September 2007, before the official visit to Russia by Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, with the aim of promoting trade relations between the two countries.
