Seminar on green urban planning

ME - A seminar on the green town to highlight the importance of the development of green towns and cities in Vietnam was held on December 10th in Hanoi by the Vietnam Urban Planning Association.
Delegates agreed that green urban planning in Vietnam should be enhanced while environmental pollution is reduced as it has increasingly negative impacts on urban people’s lives.
According to the seminar, a green town should meet 7 criteria: green space, green projects, green traffic, green industry, good conservation of nature and green urban environment and an urban community friendly to environment and nature.
In addition, scholars also pointed out that a green town should have green architecture, use green natural resources and energy and be built in a sustained location.
During the seminar, property developers and experts introduced and examined 3 green property projects as models of green urban areas in northern, central and southern provinces.
