Seminar on investment promotion between Kawasaki City and Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu Province

ME - In the morning of 17 November at Palace Hotel, BR-VT People's Committee organized seminar on investment promotion for supporting industries between Kawasaki City (Japan) and BR-VT Province.

This seminar is one activity of investment promotion program of Delegation of Kawasaki enterprises in Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu on 17 and 18 November.

Participating in this seminar, for Vietnamese side are Mr. Nguyễn Tuấn Minh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Minh Sanh, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Tran Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Council; Mr. Ho Van Nien, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, leaders of departments, agencies and representative of enterprises of the Province. And for Japanese side are Mr. Mutaghuchi Takehido, Deputy General of Asian Enterprise Network Promotion Agency. Mr. Tran Van Trung, Trade Counselor of Vietnamese Embassy to Japan also participated in this seminar.

Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Tran Minh Sanh, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee expressed his expectation that this investment promotion trip of Delegation of Kawasaki enterprises will bring many investment opportunities in supporting industries in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province.

Also at the seminar, Madam Trần Thị Hường, Director of Industry and Trade Department introduce overview and strengths of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu, orientation of the Province on development of supporting industries; investment policies and procedures in Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu.

The seminar spent much time for Japanese delegation to discuss in detail about policies for attracting investment, tax incentive, industrial zones, administrative innovation, and living conditions for Japanese enterprises when working in Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

Mr. Mutaghuchi Takehido, Deputy General of Asian Enterprise Network Promotion Agency confirmed that: “Investment potentials in Ba Ria – Vung Tau are huge, with information gained in this seminar, I will promote investment activities in BR-VT in future because BR-VT has a lot of potentials that Japanese investors need".
