Uni-Bros. visited construction site of Nghi Son Thermal Power Plant

News – On 8th March 2010, representative of Uni-Bros. included Mr. Le Ngoc Anh Minh, General Director, Mr. Le Thanh Ben, Deputy General Director, Mr. Bui Van Sinh, business director, Mr. Kenji Nakano, E&C Director of Northern Region, and Mr. Masahiro Tanaka, Business Development Manager of Northern Region visited construction site of Nghi Son Thermal Power Plant.

Mr. Yasushi Matsumura, General Manager of EPC No.2 Division, Mr. Takayuki Ishikawa Project Engineer and the Associate - Mr. Kiminari Wada received the group. After that, Marubeni gave brief introduction about the project as well as some activities before construction commencement.

Representative of Uni-Bros. also introduced project services which Uni-Bros. can provide  Marubeni Corporation.

Nghi Son Power Center has total capacity of 1,800MW including 02 power plants: Nghi Son Thermal Power Plant No. 1 with capacity of 600MW in which EVN is Employer and Nghi Son Thermal Power Plant No.2 with capacity of 1,200MW. According to principle agreement of the government, EVN has the right to select contractor as well as to invite Marubeni Corporation for quoting price and making direct negotiation.

At present, Marubeni carries out soil investigation of the project.
