Vietnam Railway invests 1.5tr dong for building three bridges

News - Vietnam Railway Corp officially kicked off construction works on three new bridges of Dong Nai, Tam Bac and Thi Cau on December 16, 2011.
The Railway Project Management Board No 1 revealed that the purpose of the construction projects was to reduce the traffic jam and to ensure the traffic safety for all vehicles.
The new Tam Bac Bridge would be sited in the Hanoi-Hai Phong railway route, over Cam River, about 16 metres far away from the old one.
Thi Cau Bridge would be located on Hanoi-Lang Son railway route, 30 metres far from the old one.
Meanwhile, Dong Nai Bridge would be sited in the lower part of the river, about 890 metres far away from the current one.
The total investment capital for this project was estimated at 1.5 trillion dong, mostly taken from the state budget.
