Vinatexmart to build 30 supermarkets in 2012

News - Vietnam Garment and Textile Fashion Trading one-member Ltd Co, owner of Vinatexmart supermarket system, a member of Vietnam National Garment and Textile Group (Vinatex), has recently said that it will invest over 370 billion dong to build over 30 new shopping centres in 2012.
According to Tran Thanh Nhan, the company's deputy general director, among the 30 new outlets, there will be 20 large-scaled supermarkets and the rest will be mini supermarkets and supermarkets for fashion garments.
Nhan said, together with supermarkets in Hanoi and HCM City, Vinatextmart will focus on populous provincial markets. Vinatextmart have found many places to build these new outlets, of which An Giang province will have three outlets.
Vinatexmart's goal is to build 200 supermarkets, shops and trade centres nationwide till 2015.
In addition, Vinatexmart is also changing its business system with new logo that is expected to be announced in the end of April 2012.
According to Nhan, in 2011, Vinatexmart exceeded the year's business target with revenue growth of 30 percent year-on-year.
In 2012, the company expects to gain revenue growth of 35 percent on year, of which, garment and textile sector will account for over 45 percent.
