VN-Japan relations conference held in HN

News/Hà Nội - The Việt Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) and the ACT Training International jointly organized on February 6 a conference on Việt Nam-Japan cooperative relations.
Speaking at the conference, VUFO President Vũ Xuân Hồng stressed that the event contributed to boosting bilateral cooperative relations which was agreed in an agreement signed on November 23, 2011 as well as international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.
Japanese Ambassador to Việt Nam Tanizaki Yasuaki expressed hopes that the two sides will realize specific activities to strengthen exchanges and propose orientations to concretize agreements.
The conference focused on issues including nuclear energy policies and nuclear power safety in Japan, policies for the environment near nuclear power plants and cooperation in infrastructure development.
