VN, Japan co-organise seminar on algebra

News/Quy Nhon - The seventh Vietnam- Japan Joint Seminar on Commutative Algebra opened
on Dec. 12 at Quy Nhon University in the central province of
Binh Dinh.
The seminar will take place in five days from Dec. 12-16, co-organised by Vietnam Institute of Mathematics and Japan ’s Meiji University with the participation of 85 mathematicians from Vietnam , Japan , the Republic of Korea , Germany and the US .
The purpose of the seminar, which is the biggest event of its kind in Vietnam , is to exchange the newest research results and promote cooperation in the field.
During the seminar, 41 reports and 2 lectures will be presented./.
