VN, Japan exchange development experiences

News/Hanoi - More than 400 delegates to the seminar, held on January 9 in Hà Nội by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA|) and the Vietnamese CPV Central Committee’s Commission for Organization, shared development experiences.
At the seminar, Mr. Tsuno Motonori, Chief Representative of JICA Việt Nam, stated that being a medium-income country with deep and broad international integration requires Việt Nam to restructure and raise its economic competitiveness.
Mr.Motonori stressed that Japan is willing to share its development experiences with Việt Nam and support the country during its reform, helping it realize the target of becoming an industrialized country before 2020.
At the seminar, Vietnamese officials at central and local levels approached Japan’s development experiences, especially in economic development and resource tapping, and sought suitable ones that can be applied in Việt Nam.
