WB provides additional credit for Red River water project

News - The Governor of State Bank of Việt Nam,
under the assignment of PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, signed an agreement on the World
Bank’s additional credit for a clean water project in rural areas in the Red
River Delta.
Under the agreement, the WB will provide an
addition of US $65.27 million to the project.
The project is part of the country’s Strategy on
clean water supply in rural areas until 2020 to improve people’s living
conditions there.
PM Dũng also gave nod to add the project on
"Assisting Labor Law enforcement and speeding up harmonious labor
relations in Việt Nam" to the portfolio which is freely funded by the US.
The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social
Affairs will be responsible for perfecting the project’s related documents,
approving and implementing them.
